Foster-Miller is an active participant in the U.S. Army's technological quest for a more safe, effective and comfortable soldier. We are one of the primary contributors in the development of the soldier ensemble that is part of the $100 million second phase of the Objective Force Warrior (OFW). We continue to add to our family of specialized robots, making them lighter, more versatile and more useful for a variety of missions. We are using our textile network technology to create embedded textile antennas and personal area networks (PANs) for OFW soldiers and others to wear. Our microclimate cooling technology is being developed for helicopter pilots and for use in OFW.
In addition, the Army has been our partner on advanced composites braiding programs, materials to better preserve MREs, and chemical/biological countermeasures.
