Utilization of energy is driven by regulatory requirements, marketplace drivers and consumer needs. The price of energy plays a large role in the type of work performed, such as the use of solar generated power to assist local electric power. Foster-Miller has been an active participant in energy conservation research and has completed several projects that have redefined the state-of-the-art in the energy industry, including our work in energy-efficient alternative cooling technologies and a variety of new heat pumps.
